Developing the "Emotionally Intelligent" Teacher Welcome and thanks for joining the journey into emotional intelligence! The EI instrument is used by permission from the authors at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. The inventory has four parts and will take you approximately 30 minutes to complete in its entirety. Please complete one or more parts before logging off. When you log on again, the system will recognize your User ID and take you directly to the next part to complete the inventory. At the end of each part, the system will generate a profile chart of specific EI attributes. At the end of the survey, the system will generate a comprehensive chart, identifying your relative EI strengths. You may print a copy of this page if you want a permanent record. Following the charts, you will also see a list of interesting web sites to visit if you want to learn more about developing your EI potential.
